The Biltmore property includes an 18-hole golf course, and the Granada Golf Course is also close by. Between the two golf courses is the Venetian Pool, another historic landmark from the 1920s.
The University of Miami was built on land donated by Merrick when the city was built as a university featured prominently in his dream of the perfect town. Today, UM and the City work together to offer residents exceptional cultural and educational opportunities.
